November 09, 1903
The death of the two-year-old son
of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Buckner
occurred this morning at their home
on West Avenue. The funeral will
be held tomorrow afternoon and
the remains taken to Lyndonville
for interment.
Earl Buckner is seated in chair with
his older brother Carl Edward Buckner
standing to his left.
From Carl Buckner's Personal Journal:
"...then to my surprise a Baby Brother
was born and I guess that took up most
of my Mother's time. I found that he
was a lot of fun....I came home one
afternoon to find that my little brother
was very sick. A few days later, he died.
He was one and one half years old.
I missed him very much. He was just so
he could crawl on the floor and I would
play hide and seek with him....."
