Her parents were Admiral Logan Ramsey and Harriet Ramsey - buried at Arlington. He was famous for sounding the alarm when Pearl Harbor was attacked "Air Raid Pearl Harbor this is no drill." Her brother was Logan C Ramsey, Jr, an actor who was on a number of different TV shows and his wife was Anne Ramsey (also an actress - Throw Mama from the Train was one of her movies).
