Mrs. Susan Marshall Dies in Littlefield

Littlefield, June 16 (Special)--
Mrs. Susan A. Marshall, 77, who lived with a daughter, Mrs. R. B. McQuatters, about 10 miles northwest of Anton, died in a Littlefield hospital late today after having undergone surgery Monday.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Littlefield Methodist Church at 5 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. J. H. Sharp, pastor at Littlefield, and Rev. W. M. Culwell of Spade officiating. Burial will be in Littlefield Cemetery under direction of Rix Funeral Home of Lubbock.

Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Burrell Featherstone (Barney) Wells and Rhoda Emiline Simmons Marshall.

Mrs. Marshall was survived by two sons, John and Claude Marshall, of Houston; three daughters, Mrs. McQuatters, Mrs. Lillie Ballew of Littlefield, and Mrs. Ora Gibson of Fort Worth; two sisters, Mrs. A. C. Evans of Potts Camp, Miss., and Mrs. Mattie Nelson of Reeves, Tenn.
