"Emmalou "Logan" Brink Pennell, longtime resident of Coleman passed away June 24, 2008 in a Georgetown hospital.
"Services will be Friday, June 27, 2008 at 10:30am at the Walker Funeral Chapel with internment to follow in the Sonora Cemetery at 3:30pm with Rev. Kermit Sorrells officiating. The internment will be under the direction of Walker Funeral Home of Coleman.
"Emmalou was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Della Goodall Logan. She was born August 15, 1919 in Sonora, Texas. She received a Master's Degree from the University of Houston and was a member of the First Methodist Church, a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha and was a teacher and counselor.
"Emmalou is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Arthur and Jackie Brink of Allen, TX; one grandchild: Jessica Aileen Brink."
