Patricia was the daughter of Eugene and Lillian Tierney. She grew up and lived in Riverdale, NY, before moving to Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, ten years ago. She graduated from Lehman with a BA degree in English Literature. This began a lifelong passion for reading and creative writing. She pursued a career in advertising and public relations and for many years was affiliated with the Intercontinental Hotel Group. Patricia was the founder and President of Tierney & Company Communications, a public relations firm, based in NYC, that specialized in travel and leisure companies. Patty was proud of being an entrepreneur but she greatly cherished a little girl named Priscilla, from Kenya, Africa, whom she had been sponsoring for many years.
Surviving along with her parents are her loving sisters, Gerry and Genie, brothers-in-law Peter and Bill, cherished nieces, Erin, Caitlin, Liana, Juliet and many, many dear friends.
