Funeral services were held Saturday in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home in Hazel Green, Ala., for Claud Kenneth Davis of New Market, Ala., who died Thursday (Aug. 10, 1989) in the Huntsville Hospital. He was 75.
The Rev. James Campbell officiated. Burial followed in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Madison County, Ala.
A native of Madison County, Ala., he was the son of the late George Allison and Mary Louella Jones Davis, he was a retired farmer and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Marguerite Danner Davis of New Market; a daughter, Elsie Blair of New Market; a son, Kenneth Davis of New Market; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
