Guthrie, Sept. 22 – Joy was turned to sorrow for Mr. and Mrs. Josiah Lehman of this city when funeral services were held for their youngest son, Homer, on their golden wedding anniversary day Thursday.
The aged couple had made elaborate arrangements for celebrating the day with a big family reunion, when a telegram was received Tuesday announcing the death of the son. Nine children and thirteen grandchildren were to have been present.
Homer Lehman, who was an oil field employee, was mysteriously shot and killed at his home, three miles from Sapulpa.
