PERSONAL NEWS.
. . . Quite a gloom was cast over our little community, says a Sandhills correspondent, when news was received of the death of Mrs. T. Adams (nee Miss Millicent Limpus) in the Rockhampton General Hospital. Mrs. Adams was married only a week before at the residence of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. Limpus, Little Beach. She was, in fact, spending her honeymoon at Yeppoon when she was taken ill. Mrs. Adams was very popular with residents of and visitors to the Sandhills. She always had a welcoming smile for them at the home of her parents, where many of them spent many happy musical evenings. She was a capital musician. She worked very hard to collect funds for making the very much needed metal road to the Little Beach and organised quite a number of entertainments with the same object in view. The very sincere sympathy of the people of the Sandhills and of the many frequent visitors to the place will be extended to the bereaved husband and also to Mr. and Mrs. Limpus and the members of their family.
