He was born Aug. 6, 1953 to David and Helen Brown in Anadarko and died Feb. 19, 2012 in Tyler, Texas.
He attended Schools in his early years and Cyril School in his higher grades. He married Rhonda Callahan on June 20, 1970. To this union three children were born, son Shancy and two daughter, Marcy and Shila. He later married Mary Martin on Aug. 26, 1982. To this union a son was born, Cody.
Mr. Brown was a paint and body repairman, which was his passion. He was very good at it and did excellent work. Some people said he performed the best work they had ever seen. He worked maintenance at Hollytex Carpet Mill for several years. He was a tanker driver and hauled crude oil. He enjoyed restoring classic cars, he liked going on road-trips and sight seeing. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a good football player and he enjoyed watching old western movies.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother Clay Brown and infant son, Derek Adam.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of the home; son, Shancy Brown and wife, Elizabeth of Cyril, Marcy Redden and husband Eddie of Cyril, daughter, Shila Downs of Cyril; son, Cody Brown of Arp, Texas; grand-kids, Blair, Blaine, Tori, Allen, Jayden, Derek, Nelson, Hunter and Kylie of Cyril; brothers, Lance Harrison and wife, Debbie of Apache and Warren Brown and wife, Tess of Anadarko.
