Born in Lawrence, MA on September 2, 1953, he was the son of the late Roland and Claire S. (Porter) Gallant. He was raised and attended school in Andover. Stephen worked over thirty years for Raytheon in Andover and Waltham as a Final Inspector. He was a member of the Elks in Lawrence and has been a resident of Weare, NH for the past eight years.
Stephen was a kind and warm-loving father and grandfather. He loved watching the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins. He enjoyed working with children and he liked tattoos.
Family members include his loving sons, Justin and Derek Gallant and Thomas Indeglia; his brothers, John, Tim, Kevin and Dennis and the late Mickey Gallant; three grandchildren, Alicia Gallant, Calvin and Mason Indeglia.
Funeral services were held at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading on Thursday, February 23 at 10:30 AM. Calling hours were held on Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery, also of North Reading alongside his parents Roland and Claire and brother Mickey.
