Funeral Home, Inc. Mr. Watkins died August 16,1995 in Colorado City. He was born
January 15, 1926 in Rising Star. He had lived in Colorado City for 17
years and worked in the oilfield supply business before going to work
for the City of Colorado City sanitation department. Mr. Watkins was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a Methodist. Survivors include one son, Douglas Watkins of Lubbock; three
brothers, Jerry Watkins of Alamogordo, N.M., Cecil Watkins of
Monahans and Johnny Watkins of Ozona and two sisters, Rita Sell of
Perryton, Texas and Mary Jane Watkins of Richardson.
The family suggests memorials to Mitchell County Hospital
Hospice Program or the Adult Day Care Activity Center, Lubbock.
