Mrs. Cora Eddington, 73, a resident of Ottumwa for the past 30 years died at her home, 545 Summit street, at 6 a.m. today. She was the daughter of Hiram and Dorcas Clark and was born near Chillicothe, Iowa, January 15, 1870. Her husband Isaac preceded her in death December 6, 1936. Surviving are three sons, Isaac, at home; Guy of Ottumwa, and Charles P. Eddington, now serving with the Army in Africa, and two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Turner, Ottumwa and Mrs. Florence Norbert, Plattsburg, New York. One brother, Adam Clark of Albia; one sister, Mrs. Rhoda Overstake of near Ottumwa; six grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive. The body was taken to the Johnson funeral chapel to await completion of arrangements for the funeral .
Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Edington, 545 Summit street, who died Thursday will be held at the Johnson funeral chapel at 3 p.m. Monday in charge of the Rev. A.D. McClure. Burial will be in the Myrick cemetery at Chillicothe, Iowa. The family requests no flowers be sent. Burial January 03, 1944; parents Dorcas Hartley Clark,& Hiram Clark.
