Adeline graduated from Wellsville High School with the class of 1931. She then attended Kansas State Teachers` College of Emporia, where she received a teaching certificate. Adeline was a homemaker. She taught in rural schools for three years, worked in conservation service, was treasurer for her church,OK Photo,and in medical records at Ransom Memorial Hospital, all in Ottawa. On June 19, 1938, Adeline was united in marriage with Harry Eldon Scott at Baldwin City, Kansas. He preceded her in death August 14, 1989.
