Betty (Clem) Adams, 84, passed away January 20, 2012.

Betty was born in Atchison, KS on December 8, 1927, the oldest daughter of Jesse Clem and Charlotte (Nettleton) Clem.

After graduation from Atchison High School, Betty married Myron Hedrick. They had three children, Jerry, Philip and Janet.

Betty enjoyed having a working career and worked as a secretary for many years, including at LFM in Atchison. Myron and Betty divorced. Later Betty married Robert Adams.

Betty moved to Portland, OR in 1965 where she worked for Jantzen Sportswear in their design and marketing departments. Later she worked as an interior decorator and was a convention coordinator for a major hotel on the Oregon coast.

Betty enjoyed painting and drawing in her spare time. She was a great person with dogs and always had a loving pet to take care of.

Survivor's include her two sons, Jerry and Philip, six grandchildren, Whitney Hedrick, Elizabeth Bowen, Eva Hanson, Joseph Hedrick, Jonathan Bowen, Michael Hedrick, and three great-grandchildren. She was well loved and will be missed by her family.

Betty's daughter Janet passed away in 2006.
