Burchmore left his home In Belmore Street Alexandria in the morning to spend the day with some friends who had a camp on the river. He went for a swim with another camper named Ernest Williams nnd was seized with cramps and sank. The body was recovered in about ten feet of water. An attempt lasting over two hours was made to restore animation but without avail
