On February 12, 1974, she married Michael Bowdre. They later divorced.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Misty Bowdre of Wichita, KS, and Mindy Bowdre of Parsons, KS; a brother Clinton Journot of St. Paul, KS; 3 grandchildren; and several aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Burial will be Feb. 26, 2004 at Mitchell Cemetery in Labette County, Kansas.
