ELKTON, January 2—Funeral services were held from the Money and King Funeral Home at Vienna yesterday for Dorval Dechert Lewis, 52, a former resident of the Elkton area. He moved to Vienna 18 years ago and for 14 years was an employee of the National Archives.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Dearing Lewis; eight children, Raymond Lewis, of Sterling, Va.; Seaman Richard Lewis, and Mrs. Thelma Lyons, Mrs. Louise Carver, Martin, Robert, Margaret and James Lewis, of Vienna; a brother, Jeffrey Lewis, of Lynchburg, and a sister, Miss Helen Lewis, of Richmond. A son. Edward Lewis, was killed in World War II.
Among those who attending the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Millard Downey, Dayton; and James Downey, Mrs. T. R. Morris, Mrs. Russell Baugher, W. T. Dearing, Mrs. Charles Slye, Mrs. Mamie Merica, and Miss Agnes Dearing.
