United States Army Brigadier General.

One of the first General Staff Officers of the Army Air Corps. Graduated from West Point in 1907, and spent ten years serving in the cavalry. In 1916, he joined General John Pershing in New Mexico in the pursuit of Pancho Villa. After this he transferred to the fledgling Air Corps division of the United States Army.

From 1935 to 1939 he was Commander of Air Corps' Material Division at Wright Field in Ohio. This was where he reached the rank of Brigadier General. Often known as the "Father of Modern Air Force Logistics".

His father was William Robins, a Colonel in the Confederate Army, and a relative of George Washington. His mother was Sally Nelson Robins, author and direct descendant of Signer Thomas Nelson.

The town of Warner Robins and Robins Air Force Base in Georgia were named for him.
