Doyal Eugene Youngblood, 74, of Harrison passed away Friday, Dec. 23 (2011) at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, at Holt Memorial Chapel, with Brother Steve Holt officiating. Burial will be in Plumlee Cemetery under the direction of Holt Memorial Chapel. Family and friends will be pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

The son of Ernie and Frances (Farmer) Youngblood was born Sept. 15, 1937, at Parthenon. Doyal was a member of New Hope Full Gospel Church. He enjoyed traveling and playing and listening to music.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lex and Max Youngblood; and three sisters, Crista, Velma and Ruth Youngblood.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma (Spencer) Youngblood of the home; two sons, Darrell Youngblood and his wife, Sandy, and Devoe Youngblood, both of Harrison; a daughter, Wanda Hale of Harrison; five brothers, Joe, Jim and Jesse Youngblood, all of Osage, Pete Youngblood of Pascal, Wash., and Ron Youngblood of Berryville; three sisters, Marie Arnold of Bergman, Kathy Henderson of Harrison and Misty Scoles of Penrose, Colo.; five grandchildren, Francine, Seana, Hannah, Olivia and Caleb Youngblood; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
