Mrs. Mattir Inez Anthis, 38, wife of George Anthis, and resident of Twin Falls for the past 20 years, died at 6:43 o'clock Friday evening at the Twin Falls County General Hospital. Mrs. Anthis had been ill since early spring, and had submitted to an operation at the hospital recently.
She was born at Willispoint, Texas, June 3, 1897. Mrs. Anthis was a member of the order of the Eastern Star at Cushing Oklahoma. She also affiliated with the Christian Church of that place.
Surviving relatives are her husband and four children, Robert, Eugene, Vera and James all twin Falls. Two brothers, George LaHue, Churchhill, and Dewitt Lahue, Eden, one sister Mrs. C.L. Biggerstaff, Twin Falls.
The body rests at the White Mortuary. Funeral Services will be announced later.
