Editorial cartoonist for the Arkansas Gazette from 1964 to 1991. His work focused mainly on state issues and politicians, including Governors Orval Faubus and Bill Clinton, whom he depicted riding a tricycle due to Clinton's young age when he became governor. Fisher always incorporated his wife's nickname, Snooky, into his cartoons, prompting his audience to look for "Snooky" when they read the newspaper each morning. After the Gazette closed in 1991, he began drawing cartoons for the weekly Arkansas Times and did so until his death. His cartoons have been compiled in a number of books over the years.
