Mr. Carter, age 75 of Winnfield, LA died Wednesday, August 8, 2001 in the Winn Parish Medical Center. He was a Winn Parish native, a retired railroad engineer for Illinois Central RR, a member of Laurel Heights Baptist Church, member of the Calvin Masonic Lodge #431 33rd Degree Mason and member of the Monroe Scottish Rite Past Patron of the Eastern Star Palestine Chapter #55, Veteran of World War II.
