According to my (Contributor MM # 50950498) research, Lola Viola Davis Abbott had three children after William Author "Tom" Abbott died. They were: Annie Lee (1938), Martha Jean (1941) and Russell Boyd (1942). The father of these three children is unknown.
1940 census lists Lola Viola Davis Abbott, age 31, as a widow, living with her parents, four siblings and her seven children, the youngest, Annie Lee, born in 1938.

Her parents most likely raised her children because in the 1950 census, she was living only with her 23-year-old son, Dewey Talmage Abbott.
