Lowell Stuckman
February 2, 1924 - November 26, 2011

Lowell Randles Stuckman of Traverse City, formerly of Garrett, Indiana, Pontiac, Michigan, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Wichita Falls, Texas and Savannah, Georgia died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Bortz Health Care of Traverse City.

He married Annie Ree Porter on September 1, 1946 in Clarendon, Texas. In 1952 he started working as a Chevrolet Senior Cost Estimator and in 1978 he retired from General Motors as a Director of Product Programs.

Lowell was a member of Pi Tau Sigma of Purdue University, Land of Lakes Flying Club, Classic Car Club of America, Auburn Cord Duesenberg Classic Car Club, Four Hills Country Club of Albuquerque, NM, and an active member of the Methodist Church in Pontiac, MI, Albuquerque, NM and Savannah, GA.

Lowell earned his pilot's license at 16 years old and continued flying for decades. He restored and exhibited many of his classic cars, enjoyed boating, water skiing, golfing, photography, and coin collecting.

Lowell is survived by his daughters Catherine (Mark) Martin of Glen Arbor, MI, Cynthia (Steve) Hitt of Weatherford, TX and Amy (Alan) Blevins of Savannah, GA., grandchildren: Clint, Mary, Marshall, Boyd, Brooke, Carmen and Taylor and great-grandchildren: Katelyn, Mason, Porter, Rowan and Harlow.

Lowell is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ann Stuckman, parents, Dorance and Ava Stuckman and sisters, Ilene Case and Phyllis Traster.

Cremation has taken place. Private Memorial Services are being held at the at the Glen Lake Community Reformed Church, Glen Arbor. Burial will be held 10am, Monday, December 19, 2011 at Citizen's Cemetery, Claredon [sic], Texas. Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Lowell to the Burton Memorial Library, 217 S. Kearney St., Clarendon, Texas 79226. The family chose Life Story Funeral Home to handle the arrangements. Please call Robertson Funeral Home, Clarendon, Texas for Texas arrangements.
