Chester C. Rice Jr., 76, or Arcanum, passed peaceably into the loving arms of Jesus at his home on Oct. 15, 2011 with family by his side.
He was an accomplished inventor and designer of precision machinery. He served in the United States Army, attended E.U.M. Church and was a member of Gideon's International.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Chester C. and Harriet Badgley) Rice Sr.; son, Joel B. Rice; brother, John A. Rice.
