Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today in the First Baptist Church of Panhandle with Youth Minister Dale Langehennig officiating.
Interment was at 2 p.m. today in Quail Cemetery of Quail under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.
Mr. Gilbreth had been a Panhandle resident for 39 years, moving there from Sweetwater. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the V.F.W. of Panhandle. Mr. Gilbreth was a graduate of Quail High School and attended Ag Tech, a school associated with the Texas A&M system. He married Glendora Thomas on Oct. 31, 1942 in Wellington.
Survivors include his wife, Glendora of the home; three sons, Jimmy Gilbreth of Panhandle, Johnny Gilbreth of Amarillo and Jacky Gilbreth of Washburn; one daughter, Diane Slaughter of Amarillo; one brother, Richard Gilbreth of Antonito, Colo.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
