Funeral of Mrs. Anderson.
The funeral of the late Matilda T. Anderson, who died Wednesday night of heart failure, took place yesterday morning. The services at the residence, 622 New Jersey avenue, were conducted by Rev. J. F. Wells, pastor of the Edgerton Place Baptist church. There was a large concourse of sorrowing friends present, among whom were many of the old citizens who came here in the '60s and had known the deceased for over thirty years. The remains were interred at Oak Grove cemetery by the side of her late husband, Judge F. B. Anderson, the pioneer citizen who died a few years ago.
