Loren was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp. who served as Crew Chief with the 39th Bomb Group. He retired in July of 1961 as Master Sergeant of U.S. Air Force, and then worked for Lockheed Aircraft Corp., where he retired in July 1981. He was married to Ruth and was the father of Ernest.
