Albert Glen "Pat" Aber, 85, of Swamp Road, Morrisville, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2006, in University Hospital, Syracuse, after a brief illness. Mr. Aber was born April 23, 1920, in Tyrone, the son of Ralph E. and Edith Ovenshire Aber. He was a former resident of the southern Cayuga County area, and had lived in Madison County the past 50 years. He was a retired dairy farmer and had worked previously for the Town of Sempronius. He was a member of the NYS Holstein Association and Madison County Farm Bureau. He married to Marjorie Jean Wilbur, and they had just celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary Nov. 15, 2005. He is survived by his wife, Marge of Morrisville; three children, Ted Aber of Morrisville, Douglas Aber of Cocoa, Fla., and Betty Jo (Robert) Schelah of Greer, S.C.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Philip (Bert) Aber of Locke; three sisters, Dorothea Montgomery of Syracuse, Ruth Wilson of Dade City, Fla., and Isabella Carter of Cortland; two brothers-in-law, Larry White of Locke and Ted Spiero of Port Charlotte, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Martha Murphy, Pauline Downing and Shirley White; and three brothers, Alfred, Lynn and Hylen Aber. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at the Wade Funeral Home, 22 Church St., Moravia. The Rev. Thomas Montgomery will officiate. Spring burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery, Sempronius. Calling hours will be held noon to 2 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Friends wishing, may send memorial contributions to Extended Care, Hamilton, N.Y.; Office of the Aging, Morrisville, N.Y.; or Smithfield-Eaton Volunteer Ambulance Corps (SEVAC), Morrisville, N.Y.
