Cecil "Cec" Price Wolfe, 73, of Route 2, Box 4115, Berryville died Wednesday in Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Wolfe was born Jan. 22, 1921,in Marion, the son of James Miller and Alice E. Blankenbeckler Wolfe. He was a farmer and a member of the American Angus Association, the Northern Virginia Livestock Exchange, the Farm Bureau, and the Farmers Livestock Exchange Board of Directors. He was a member of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Men, and a past board member of the church. He was a charter member of the Berryville Ruritan Club and was a sponsor for Alcoholics Anonymous. He was a graduate of Clarke County High School and attended Bridgewater College.
He married Nancy Buckingham on May 6, 1945, in Winchester.
Surviving with his wife, are three sons Thomas Reed Wolfe, James Richard Wolfe, and Daniel Blaney Wolfe, all of Berryville; two sisters, Elizabeth Cover of Fredericksburg and Nancy Arnold of Hamilton; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. in Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church. The Rev. Daniel L. Garrett will officiate.
The family will received friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Omps Funeral Home.
