BLACK, Garnet Allan "Blackie" - Passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Wednesday, September 14, 2011; at the age of 72. Loving father of Patricia (Hugh) McDevitt, Cynthia Black, Garnet Black and Rena Knicely and predeceased by Dalton and Teresa. Cherished grandfather of Kenya (Chris), William (Alice), Tanya, Daniel, Josh (Hailey) and Teresa. Great-grandfather of Riley, Jaydan and Jonathan. Brother of Alfred (Dorothy), Lawrence (Jackie) and predeceased by sister Audrey. Garnet will always be remembered by Lillian and by his many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Garnet's neighbours, Kelly and Paul Bogie for all of their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at the MUNDELL FUNERAL HOME, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment: Sebright United Cemetery.
