Beth is the daughter of Nathaniel and Clara [Roach] Weddle. She moved from the midwest to California with her husband George in 1931. They had four children: Donald W., Collen, Phyllis and Dorothy. She is buried adjacent to her husband George who died in 1974.
In the late 1960's she complied an extensive genealogy of the decendents of John & Mary Weddle down to her own generation. The work is referred to as THE WEDDLE BOOK and traces each family branch of the immigrant ancestors, John & Mary. We owe her a great debt for her efforts at preserving family history.
The photo of Beth Mueting beside the historical marker for George Weddell was taken in 1970 during her research into the WEDDLE family origins.
