Arthur Vernon "Cheetie" Flynn, 75, of Woodlawn, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

He was born January 18, 1936 to the late Ida Kareen & Coy Washington Flynn in Princeton, WV.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Lynn Flynn of the home; two daughters, Wendy Michelle (Flynn) Creech and husband, Warren Edward Creech of Cumberland, KY. and Bambi Kareen (Flynn) Rivera and husband, David Bruce Rivera of Chesapeake, VA.; one son, Michael Vernon Flynn of Woodlawn; four grandchildren, Warren Edward Creech, Jr., Ashley Michelle Creech, Whitley Nicole (Flynn) Burgess and Kareen Nicole Rivera; two great grandchildren, Rylei Lynn-Delene Burgess and Warren Edward Creech III (Trey); one sister-in-law, Judy Robinson of Atlanta, GA; two nieces, Tina Lynn Stanley and Randi Robinson; two grand nephews, Cameron and Corey Stanley and Sebastian and Tristan Pearson.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 3pm in the Twin County Funerals Sanctuary. The Rev. Gloria Rhudy will be officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Flowers are appreciated or donations can be made to the Woodlawn Untied Methodist Church. Twin County Funerals is serving the Flynn family.
