Daniel Roswell Landaw, aged 79 of 1346 West Sample street, died at 5:05 o'clock Friday afternoon in his home. He had been ill since September. Mr. Landaw was born March 23, 1857 in Ohio, and came here 36 years ago from Goshen, Ind. He was married 58 years ago in Christman, O., to Malinda Amelia Christman, who died in October, 1931. He was employed 36 years as an engineer for the Sanders Lumber company. Surviving are a son, Daniel Edward Landaw, South Bend, seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Four brothers and five sisters also survive; Charles Landaw, Goshen; Ira Landaw, Syracuse, Ind.; Oak and Wilbur Landaw, Nappanee, Ind.; Mrs. Addie Brookmyer, Mrs. Linnie Zellinger and Mrs. Ina Fiticke, all of Goshen; Mrs. Nettie Bicke, Elkhart, Ind., and Mrs. Clara Peters of California. The body may be viewed in the residence until the funeral at 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon. Rev. H. W. Spencer, pastor of Mennonite Brethren in Chris church, will conduct servive in the residence and burial will be in Goshen.

The funeral of Daniel R. Landaw, 1346 West Sample street, was held at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon from the residence in charge of Rev. H. W. Spencer, of the Mennonite Brethren in Christ church. Burial was in Goshen, Ind.
