Services were at 3 p.m. Saturday in Roaring Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Rickey Lawrence, pastor of Roaring Springs Full Gospel Church, officiating. Arrangements were by Seigler Funeral Home of Matador.
Mr. Green was born in Dickens County. He was a longtime resident of Roaring Springs prior to moving to Bakersfield in 1953. He retired as a loan analyst for Production Credit Association and the Federal Land Bank. He also worked for the Farmers Home Administration in Kern County, Calif.
He married Annie Fern Marshall in 1933. She died in 1997.
Survivors include a son, Gaines Green of Lone Pine, Calif.; a daughter, Kelly Ann Green of Bakersfield; three sisters, Sue Maxey of Post, Nell Stevens of Garnerville, Nev., and Nina Sinclair of Lubbock; five grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.
The family suggest memorials be to Roaring Springs Community Center.
