Edith Lois Thomas Abbott 88 of Belton, died Thursday 15 Nov. 2013 in S&W Hospital after suffering a long illness. Mrs. Abbott was born in Waco Tx. Oct. 19, 1925 and was one of four sisters. She lived in Belton most of her married with her first husband, Charles M. Thomas who died in 2000. She was preceded in death by her second husband, T.R. Abbott and two children, Billy Don Brumbelow and Charline Thomas Wooten. Mrs. Abbott is survived by two children, John Stanley Thomas and Joyce, Ann Thomas Myra and husband Stephen Myra and step-son, Rebel Abbott and Wife Judy. She has eight grandchildren and one great grandaughter along with various nieces and nephews.
Mrs Abbott had a contagious laugh and was always smiling. She had the opportunity to travel to Europe and she and husband T.R. also toured the United States before her health failed her in 2005. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
A big "THANK YOU" to Scott & White Hospital and the caring team at Hospice.
Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Hamilton, Tx.
