Mrs. Conner was born in Jackson to the late Henry and Nannie Lee Gillium Fox. She lived most of her adult life in Columbus. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Columbus. She was an avid antique collector and dealer. In addition, she was a high school teacher and an antique business owner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Conner. Survivors include three sons, two sisters, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 829, Columbus, MS 39701.
