Death Ends Long Illness Of Alice Ransberger, Miami
Mrs. Alice Ransberger, 35 year resident of Miami, died Dec. 16 at the Gila General Hospital. She was born in Terre Haute, Ind. Dec. 14, 1871.
She is survived by five daughters, Marguerite Ransberger, Red bluff, Calif., Mrs. Ollie Carpenter, Miami, Mrs. Ann Drager, Superior; Mrs. Callie Edwards, Oregon, Mrs. Laura Petroci, Wheatfields; one son, Walter, who is stationed on Okinawa. She has six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Rosary was held in the Miles Chapel, Miami at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday with Father Cornelius Monyhan officiating. Mass was held Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. with Father James Webber and Father Monyhan singing Mass at the Blessed Sacrament Church.
Burial will be in the Pinal Cemetery.

was the daughter of Timothy Keating born in Dublin, Ireland and Marguerite Ca...(?). She lived on Ransberger Hill, was a widow, and had lived in Arizona for 41 years. She died at age 80 at the Gila General Hospital of cerebral thrombosis due to an accidental fall.
