Born in Cladymore, Co. Armagh, Ireland. Early settler of this county. Married David Mc Clure in Cladymore in 1842 at age 16 , and bravely followed him to his home in the Michigan wilderness. Her first children survived thanks to help of their Anishinabe (Native American) midwives.
