Juanita Ivene Johnson Ross. Daughter of John Curry John & Mable Ivene Neal Johnson.

Juanita Ross, 71, of Bozeman passed away Feb 2, 1999 at home. She was born Sept 4, 1927, one of 13 children to John C and Mabel Ivene(Neal) John of Bozeman.

Juanita was raised in Bozeman and attended Gallatin Vallley High School. On October 22, 1945, she married Neal Ross in Livingston.

She worked at Milam's Greenhouses and at the Bungalow Drug. She enjoyed crafts; making wreaths and working with fabrics. She had a green thumb and loved plants and flowers.

Juanita is survived by her husband, Neal of Bozeman; her daughter, Cathy(Michael) DuBois , of Boulder; her son, James Ross of Marion, Iowa; two grandchildren,
Todd DuBois of SanDiego, Calif, and Heather(David) Nickovich, of East Helena; and two great grandchildren, Jenna and Taylor Nickovich of East Helena. he is also survived by her sister, Darlene (Ray) Quist of Bozeman, Lannis (Charles) Hodge of Manhattn, Betty (Joe) Parks of Belair Wash., and Beth Dorsey of Rancho Cucamonga Calif., and her brother Lee Johnson of Inman, S.C.

Her parents, four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

Visitation at Dahl Funeral Chapel will be Saturday, Feb. 6, from 9 to 11 a.m.; funeral service immediately following. Interment at Sunset Hills Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Humand Society of Gallatin valley, 2125 N. Rouse Ave., Bozeman 59715; or to a charity of one's choice.
