He was a warehouseman for the State Highway Department and also operated a farm at Miles. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife; a son Ronald Stringer of Miles; two daughter, Mrs Richard Roverts of San Angelo and Mrs, Larry J. Ray of San Juan Puerto Rico; a brother Lilton R. Stringer of San Angelo; a sister Mrs. J. T. Parker of WInters and a grandchild.
