Ruth E. McGovney, 93, of San Angelo died Sunday, Oct. 7, in a local hospital. Burial will be in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Ruth was born May 15, 1914, in Defiance, Ohio, to John and Fannie McGovney. She was a bookkeeper until she moved to San Angelo to help care for her twin brother, Richard, and his wife, Hazel. Both preceded her in death. Ruth's remaining family members of St. Paul Presbyterian Church are left to cherish her memory and thank God for the blessing of her life among us. She had so many special friends, but Helen Adams, Dolores and Vern Jones, Betty Ulsh and Anne Kerr especially supported, nurtured and cared for Ruth in her declining health during her last years
