Jacqueline Dee King, resident of Owasso, passed away Monday, September 5, 2011 at the Evergreen Care Center at the age of 77 years. Jacqueline was born May 5, 1934 at Depew, Oklahoma to Jack and Elletha (Ellis) Castator. She was raised and received her education in the Depew, Bristow and Beggs area, graduating high school at Beggs. She then attended Okmulgee Technical School for two years. On April 21, 1957, Jacqueline and Robert King were united in marriage at the First United Methodist Church of Beggs. They made their home in Tulsa for 36 years. Her husband Robert preceded her in death in December of 1988. For the past fifteen years, she has made Owasso home. Jacqueline was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Tulsa and in her spare time enjoyed crocheting, working puzzles and spending time with her family.
Those that survive and hold many cherished memories are her
Children – Dee Biggs and husband Jeff of Catoosa, OK
Donna Conley and husband Jimmy of Talala, OK
Sue Putman of Tomball, TX
Grandchildren – Ryan, Erin, Jerrah, Jordan, Jaden, Shawn, Jenny and three great grandchildren
Besides her husband, Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the Bristow City Cemetery, Bristow, OK with Rev. Glen Krispense of Discovery Bible Fellowship Church officiating. Interment will follow the graveside service. Those that wish to honor Jacqueline's memory may do so by contributing to the charity of the giver's choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
