Mildred M. "Mae" McCaskey, 87, of Lancaster, PA formerly of St. Louis, MO, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Calvary Homes in Lancaster. She was born in Myerstown, PA, the daughter of the late Jacob and Sally (Gibbel) Douple. Her husband, Rev. Joseph L. McCaskey, passed away in 1997.

Mae was a missionary in Barbados, West Indies, later served at the Berean Mission Headquarters in St. Louis, MO. She was a member of Calvary Church where she taught Sunday School.

Surviving are her children, Michael J. married to Heather McCaskey, and Marilyn J. married to Richard Mestler; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Stanley Douple.

Relatives and friends are invited to Mae's Celebration of Life at the Groffs Family Funeral and Cremation Service, 528 W. Orange St. (corner of W. Orange & Pine St.), Lancaster, PA on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 10:00 AM. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. Donations in her name can be made to Calvary Homes Benevolence Fund, 502 Elizabeth Dr., Lancaster, PA 17601.
