Interment will follow services in the Weaver Cemetery, with Ronnie Parris, Johnny McAfee, Wade Cannon, Benny Davis, Donald Joe Davis, and Rusty Barker serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Hatchell, Bobby Goswick, Leo Matthews, and Wayne Garrettson.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 26, 2011, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Turner passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2011, in Mt. Vernon. She was born on June 17, 1947, in Sulphur Springs, the daughter of R.B. and Vera Mae Womack Bennett. She married Glen Turner, on September 23, 1966. He survives.
Mrs. Turner was retired as a supervisor from Carlton's. She was a member of Weaver Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: a daughter, Kathy Cannon and husband Randy of Hagansport; grandchildren, Justin and Kellee Cannon; and a brother-in-law, Lewis Turner and wife Brenda, of Mt. Vernon.
