Patricia Ann Clendening, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Patricia was born in Corpus Christi on February 19, 1942 to John Benson and Sadie Pittman. Her greatest accomplishments in life were her children. She was an extraordinary mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her entire life was devoted to serving God and raising her children,
She is preceded in death by her brother John Benson Jr.
She is survived by her children Jerri Peck (Ron) of Corpus Christi, Sherri Longoria (Rick) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Jarrett (Tiffany) of Longview, Texas, sister Mary Williams (Bill) of Denver, Colorado, nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Her children would like to thank their grandfather Paul Clendening and her many caregivers for giving her a better quality of life.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, August 19, 2011 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park
