Services were Thursday, July 17, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at West Marks Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Stroud, Joel Stroud and John Shackleford officiating. Burial was in the Marks Cemetery. Kimbro Funeral Home of Marks had charge.
Born in Kosciusko September 26, 1934, she was a homemaker and a member of West Marks Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Russell Johnson, Jr.
Survivors include six daughters, Betty Ann McGee of Coldwater, Jean Faye Felts of Hattiesburg, Elizabeth Avent of Lambert, Elaine Pipkin of Marks, Lawanda Johnson of Pueblo, CO, and Nelda Mullins of Garland, TX; three sisters, Christine Crow of Baytown, TX, and Frances Welch and Sherry Holloway, both of Pope; two brothers, Joe Arthur Steed and Douglas Steed of Highlands, TX; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to West Marks Baptist Church or Melanoma Research.
