Virginia S. Johnson, 83, homemaker, died of heart failure on Thursday, July 20, 1995, at the Quitman County Hospital. Services were at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, at the Marks Presbyterian Church where she was a member with burial in Marks Cemetery. Kimbro Funeral Home had charge.
Mrs. Johnson, the widow of Harry "Happy" Johnson, leaves four daughters, Peggy J. White of Marks, Wanda J. Moore of Greenville, and Betty McGee and Jeanne Faye Felts, both of Coldwater; two sons, Harry R. Johnson, Jr. of Marks and Don E. Johnson of Olive Branch; two brothers, Emil Blumhorst of DeWitt, AR and Harry E. Blumhorst of CA; 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
