Delbert Earl "Del" Arnote, age 74, of Nixa, passed away Monday, August 15, 2011 in his home. He was born May 13, 1937 in Kansas City, Kan. Del served his country in the United States Navy. He was a Kansas City, Kan. Policeman and Metro Deputy Sheriff. He later served the state of Arizona as an Electronic Technician.

Survivors include: His wife, Nita; four children, Paul Arnote, Patti Townsley, and Troy Arnote, all of Kansas City, Mo., and Scott Arnote, Mission, Kansas; six grandchildren; a step-daughter, Kelli Pate, Nixa; a very close step-granddaughter, Ellen Marie Pate; a half-brother, John Arnote, Olathe, Kan.; an uncle, Bob Arnote, Kansas City, Kan.; and a special cousin, Bea Alexander, Calif.

A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 19, in Union Hill Church of Christ, with Steve Martin officiating. Military honors will be provided by Kimberling City American Legion Post 637. Inurnment will be Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
