Platte City-Raymond L. Alexander, Sr., 83, died Sunday morning at a Kansas City, Mo. hospital.
Mr. Alexander was born in Stillings, , Mo., having lived in Platte County all his life.
He was an electrician for the Platte-Clay Electric Co. and later a carpenter and farmer until his retirement.
Surviving are his wife, Marie Jeanette Alexander of the home; one son, Raymond L. Alexander Jr, Platte City; three daughters, Rhea Seba, Leavenworth, Kan., Rita Barr, Belton, Mo.,and Martha Lee Horseman, Eldon, Mo; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m.Tuesday at the Platte City cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 this evening at the Rollins Funeral Home, Platte City.
